ADRIA PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE

Grown in 2007 within the class of percussion of the Conservatory “Antonio Buzzolla” in Adria by the Prof. Alberto Macchini and its members are graduates and students of the academic courses.
The training is a variable organic: ranging goes from duo to sextet and involve collaboration with other instruments. All the band members of the group have distinguished themselves by winning scholarships and hearings.They participated in the most important operatic and symphonic productions of the conservatory (La Boheme, Italian Girl in Algiers, Aire del sur, etc.), collaborating with the Orchestra of Padua, the Orchestra of the Conservatories of Veneto,Claudio Abbado’s Mozart Academy, the Portogruaro Festival and Percurama Danish group. In December 2007 the group was invited by the Royal Conservatory “C. Nielsen ” performing in Copenhagen as part of a percussion festival and has played in the following years a lot of concerts in Veneto. He also participated in a recording for Radio Rai 3 and two for Vatican Radio. The components have followed Masterclasses with the best percussionists in the world as Gert Mortensen, David Searcy, Dave Samuels and Johan Bridger who invited them in 2009 at the Baastad International Festival (Sweden) .They reach two times the third prize at the international competition “Young musicians city of Treviso” in the category “Contemporary Music”. The group realized in 2011 his first cd called “To Begin”. In February 2012 the group performed at the World Percussion Festival “Globobeats” held in Copenhagen. In May 2005 he played at the Verona’s Arena in the event “Count onehundred singing peace”. The group earned in July 2015 the ex aequo prize in the category “Ensemble Junior” in the international percussion competition in Montebello (PV).
