It’s a light colored hardwood, from white to lemon yellow, made from an evergreen shrub of the Buxacee family that grows wild or cultivated in the Mediterranean region. Thanks to its characteristics it is used not only in cabinet and carved or inlaid decorations, but also in the manufacture of small containers, musical instruments, chessboards and household objects.
