RG2 is designed as a generic soft mallet that can be used both in the octave low of the marimba four octaves
and for the bass of the 5 octaves with a lighter attack for a more direct sound.
The mallet preserves the sound characteristic of all series.
Suggested in pair with RG4 and RG5
